Damp surfaces need twenty to thirty minutes of running before a front arrives. The remote module means nobody has to be at the house to make that call — start, stop and schedule from wherever you are.

It also makes off-season testing painless, which is the main reason systems still work when they are finally needed.

The module comes with our self-developed app. It supports automatic and manual watering, a 15-day weather forecast with humidity and precipitation probability, watering-time statistics, a weekly irrigation calendar and a child lock to prevent accidental starts.

Multiple watering modes cover every situation: press the local water-drop button for a quick 10-minute run, use the app for manual watering, set an automatic schedule, or choose cycle soaking to split a plan into several shorter runs so water has time to absorb.

A rainfall-delay reminder appears in the app when the forecast probability reaches your chosen minimum, so you can skip unnecessary watering on rainy days. A low-battery reminder keeps all functions working normally until the battery is extremely low; replacing the four AA cells in time prevents interruption.

The timer is also compatible with the Smart Life app and integrates with Alexa and Google Home for voice control. A dedicated antenna connects directly to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi without a hub and reaches 200 m+ in open areas.

The UV-resistant PC housing survives long sun exposure without cracking, and the compact body fits into narrow spaces. Water-drop shaped buttons and indicator lights make local interaction easy, while the battery cover flips open for quick replacement.

Compatibility notes

  • Requires an EleHalo protection set — it does not drive nozzles on its own.
  • One module controls one water point; a two-tap system needs two.
  • Wi-Fi coverage at the tap is required; range extenders work fine.

Installs on a regular 3/4" tap

No plumber and no permanent pipework. The system connects to an ordinary outdoor tap — the same one you use for your garden hose. Standard outdoor taps carry a 3/4" (G3/4) male thread, which is what the supplied tap connector is made for.

Many taps ship with a hose tip, nozzle or aerator screwed onto the end. In most cases you can simply unscrew that tip by hand (or with light pliers) to reveal the bare 3/4" thread. Wrap two or three turns of the included thread-sealing tape, screw the connector on hand-tight, and the tap keeps working normally for everyday use.

Smaller 1/2" taps, indoor mixer taps and washing-machine valves are covered by the included thread adapters. If your tap has an unusual or worn thread, the garden hose connector lets you feed the system from any standard hose fitting instead.

Maximum flow rate 35 litres per minute.

How much water pressure can it withstand?

1 MPa, 145.038 psi.

Can I connect directly to Wi-Fi and use it with the Tuya / Smart Life app? Do I need a hub?

Yes — 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi direct connection, no Wi-Fi hub or Zigbee hub required. It also works with Alexa and Google Home.

Is Wi-Fi performance stable?

Yes, a dedicated antenna extends the connection range to 200 m+ in open areas.

How many plans can be arranged every day?

10 plans can be added in automatic watering mode.

Do I have to be connected to the internet to water?

No, it also supports local manual watering, and the watering time can be set from 1 min to 4 h.

Does it consume power quickly? How long can the battery last?

It uses exclusive low-power Wi-Fi communication technology and can last for 2 years.

What happens when the battery runs low?

A low-battery reminder appears and all functions keep working normally. Replace the four AA alkaline batteries as soon as the reminder shows to avoid any interruption.

How does rainfall delay work?

When the forecast probability of rainfall reaches or exceeds the minimum percentage you set, the app asks whether you want to delay watering to avoid over-watering on rainy days.

What watering modes are available?

Local button for a quick 10-minute run, app manual mode, automatic mode by schedule, and cycle soaking mode that splits a plan into multiple shorter runs.

Can I use rechargeable batteries?

No, it only supports alkaline batteries.

What if Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting?

Move the device closer to the router, reset network settings, or replace the battery. If the issue persists, test with a mobile hotspot — if that works, the problem may be router incompatibility.

Does it support flow measurement?

No, it does not.

What to do if water leaks during installation or use?

Check whether water tape is used (normally not required). If needed, do not wrap it too thick, or it may affect thread tightening and cause poor sealing.

What if the battery drains quickly?

This device only supports alkaline batteries. Using non-alkaline ones may cause unstable performance or rapid drain. We recommend high-efficiency alkaline batteries such as Duracell, Energizer or VARTA.

What if no water comes out after installation?

Installation: mount vertically if possible. Pressure: ensure pressure is 0.03–0.9 MPa, as low pressure may prevent the valve from opening. Maintenance: if water stops after some time, clean the filter screen.
