These terms apply to your use of the EleHalo website, configurator and the purchase of any EleHalo products. Please read them carefully, especially the sections on liability and what our system is not designed to do.

1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between you (“the customer”) and EleHalo — a brand of CVBV — BE1032.075.743, registered in Belgium (“we”, “us”, “EleHalo”), for all use of elehalo.com and related services.
By using our website, configurator or placing an order, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with any part, please do not use the site or purchase our products.
2. No guarantee of fire prevention
EleHalo supplies a roof and perimeter wetting system intended to reduce ember ignition risk by damping exposed surfaces before and during a wildfire event. It is a risk-reduction measure, not a fire-fighting or fire-suppression system.
We expressly state that:
- The system does not, and cannot, guarantee that your home, outbuildings or property will not ignite, burn or suffer damage during a wildfire, bushfire or any other fire event.
- Performance depends on variables outside our control, including but not limited to: water supply volume and pressure, pump capacity, wind speed and direction, fuel load, building materials, construction quality, maintenance, installation accuracy, elevation changes, ambient temperature and the intensity of the approaching fire.
- EleHalo is not a replacement for defensible space, home hardening, an evacuation plan, early warning systems or instructions from emergency services. If authorities issue an evacuation order, leave immediately.
3. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EleHalo, its directors, employees, agents and suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or connected with:
- Any fire, smoke, ember or heat damage to your property, belongings or land.
- Personal injury or loss of life occurring before, during or after a wildfire or bushfire event.
- The installation, operation, maintenance or misuse of EleHalo products, whether installed by you or a third party.
- Decisions made, or not made, in relation to evacuation, emergency response or property defence.
- Any discrepancy between the configurator output and the actual products, quantities or installation requirements on site.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the purchase or use of EleHalo products shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for those products. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.
4. Use of the website and configurator
The configurator is a planning aid. Results depend on the measurements, pressure selections and element details you enter. You are responsible for verifying all dimensions, water pressures and site conditions before ordering or installing.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website or configurator at any time without notice.
5. Products, pricing and payment
All prices shown include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs and delivery times are displayed at checkout. Product availability and prices may change without prior notice.
Orders are confirmed only after payment has been accepted and you have received an order confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders in case of pricing errors, stock unavailability or suspected fraud.
6. Delivery, returns and warranty
Delivery terms are described at checkout. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.
EleHalo components are covered by a 2-year guarantee against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, frost without drainage, UV degradation due to lack of maintenance, or force majeure events including wildfire exposure.
Because every kit is configured and cut to your personal setup using the measurements you enter in the configurator, our standard return policy does not apply. A return is only possible if there is a clear manufacturing defect in the goods. In that case the defect falls under the 2-year guarantee above.
Any approved return must be sent to EleHalo headquarters in Belgium. The buyer carries the cost of return shipping and is responsible for the goods until they reach us.
7. DIY installation and maintenance
EleHalo systems are designed for competent DIY installation. You are responsible for ensuring the installation complies with local plumbing, electrical and building regulations. If you are not confident, hire a qualified installer.
Regular inspection, nozzle cleaning, seasonal drainage and leak checks are required to keep the system ready. Failure to maintain the system may void the guarantee and reduce effectiveness.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, diagrams, the configurator, generated manuals and product designs — is the property of EleHalo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction/country]. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website and products shall be submitted to the competent courts of [jurisdiction].
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the revised terms.
