How it works
EleHalo is designed to reduce ignition vulnerability by pre-wetting vulnerable exterior surfaces, suppressing landed embers and low-intensity spot fires, and adding an active layer to defensible space and home hardening. Every number in the configurator comes from one of the six rules below.
1. Nozzles follow the surface
Coverage is what stops ember ignition, so nozzle count is driven by area or ridge length, never by taste. A flat section gets one nozzle per 2 m². A saddle is protected along its edges only, and every edge is entered as its own element — a normal saddle has six (two length edges, two up sides, two down sides), but a roof with one side down or unequal edges simply gets fewer or different ones — with one nozzle every 1 m of edge, because that is where embers land and where leaves and debris collect. A terrace border or fence gets one every 1.5 m.
2. Nozzles group into circuits
A single line can carry 20 nozzles before the end of it loses pressure and the spray pattern collapses. When an element would push past that, it moves onto a fresh circuit — and the configurator tells you which elements ended up independent.
3. Circuits group into water points
One protection set drives two circuits, up to 30 nozzles, from one outdoor tap. Each set contains the two-circuit manifold, tap connection and all mounting hardware.
4. Pressure decides your taps
On a high-pressure supply, one tap can feed two protection sets through a Y-type dual outlet, halving the taps you need. On a low-pressure supply nothing is blocked, but you get a warning: your effective spray radius will be smaller than nominal.
5. Tubing is measured, not guessed
You enter the run from the tap to the first element, then element to element. Those metres are packed into the cheapest mix of 20 m and 50 m packs, and we show how much spare you will have.
6. Two optional extras
A remote module so you can start the system from wherever you have evacuated to, and a garden-hose adapter for standard fittings like Gardena. Both are per water point.
