How it works

EleHalo is designed to reduce ignition vulnerability by pre-wetting vulnerable exterior surfaces, suppressing landed embers and low-intensity spot fires, and adding an active layer to defensible space and home hardening. Every number in the configurator comes from one of the six rules below.

1. You trace, we measure

You type your address, we load a satellite image, and you click the corners of each building and any fence or terrace line you want to protect. Nothing is measured by hand — the map gives us edge lengths, roof areas and perimeter distances.

2. Nozzles follow the surface

Coverage is what stops ember ignition, so nozzle count comes from the shape you traced. Roof edges get one nozzle per metre, alternating between the roof surface and the underside. Flat sections get one nozzle per 2 m². Perimeter runs get one nozzle every 1.5 m, always pointing outward, away from the house.

3. One tap, one circuit, 50 nozzles

There is no pressure question to answer. Every tap carries the same flat limit: one circuit with at most 50 nozzles over at most 50 m of tube. There are no manifolds and no Y-outlets.

4. Taps are added automatically

Each building and each perimeter run starts from its own tap, and when a shape needs more than one circuit the configurator simply adds another tap. You never set the tap count yourself — the layout does.

5. Tubing is measured, not guessed

The tube length comes straight from the shapes you traced, plus 10% slack for bends, drops and mistakes. Those metres are packed into the cheapest mix of 20 m and 50 m coils, and one hose & tap connector is added per tap.

6. Two optional extras

A remote module so you can start the system from wherever you have evacuated to — one per tap. And, if a tap does not sit next to the roof, a garden hose in 10, 20, 30 or 50 m and in six colours chosen to blend into a facade.

Cut the tube square, push both ends into the T-piece and the bendable nozzle arm into the top outlet. To release, press the collar and pull the tube out.

Cut the tube square, then push it fully into the fitting until it seats.

Turn the brass tip left for a fine atomised mist, right for a narrow water column.

Fixing options: tube laid in the gutter with the nozzle tip through a small hole on top, or tucked behind the tile edge. No straps or screws are supplied.
